Formed in 2014 by a group of villains who wanted to rival the FBS, the Alliance of Evil is America's largest supervillain team.
Each of the team's 32 members is paired up with an FBS member so as to make the AOE an evil FBS. Some other villains have derided this blatant copying, but even they admit that 32 villains working together can really get things done.
Luckily, for heroes, the things they get done are mostly just getting that sweet cash. "Small crimes done big" is how most heroes describe their schemes.
